You can buy the actual plunger fitted with new cork for peanuts.

Hi,

If you want to keep the cap and just change the seal then new cork seals are plentiful on eBay and are cheap, just measure up what size you need. Discussion about getting them to squeeze on here http://www.vintagebike.co.uk/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1234644389/0.

Hope that helps,

That's tank caps it seems to me, while this is petrol taps?

Some plungers come apart to fit new corks, but if you haven't got that sort (and most haven't) then it's buy new complete plungers time.

You first need to determine the type of fuel tap you have.  As previously noted, corks are readily available from many sources.  Try draganfly.co.uk, the Ariel and BSA folks.  If really desperate, you can even make you own from a piece of cork.  Dont forget to soak the corks in hot water or let them sit in a bit of oil before installing them.
