Can anyone tell me if there is a Yamaha XS650 owners club in the UK. Or of a company that specialises in parts for XS ???
-
Have you tried http://www.650motorcycles.com/? It's the only site I've come across. Not UK based though.
Cheers
Nigel.

Thanks, i have spent a fair bit of time scanning the internet but have only come up with USA or european sites.
I was hoping for a bit of local knowledge etc if possible.

Dennis - I am sure there is an XS650 section within the VJMC, may be a link on their website.

Tony Hall runs Hallco out on the A30 the western side of Salisbury. He is an ex grass track racer and specialises in XS650s. I ran one of his US import XS650 Ds back in the 90s - I still have the catalogue somewhere - it was pretty comprehensive and covered all models including frame upgrades ( very necessary ) and big bore kits. As far as I know he is still in business. Good luck.

many thanks
unfortunately Tony committed suicide recently and Hallco is currently not running although there is some talk of a company buying it up

All is not lost! There is an XS650 Specialist in the UK called Palma tuning. You can find us at the following link. http://www.palmatuning.co.uk We are based in Warwickshire, England and will be ready to trade fully with the public later on this year. At the moment we are spending our time on testing and developing new tuning products from big bore kits to rephased crank shafts. We are dedicated to the XS650 and have years of experience with these machines. You can contact us via our web site if you need any help or advice prior to our grand opening.
