Title: Old Honda Western Australia. Any information?
Post by: andre on August 28, 2005, 12:48:38 PM
G'day

I work in a country town in Western Australia and recently came across a Honda motorcycle owned by a client of mine. I have never seen a Honda like this before and can find no matching photos on the net. My client was once told that this could be the first Honda model to be marketed commercially. Can anyone out there identify it and,,,,,how much could it be worth? It needs minor maintenance to get it running.(I'm having trouble placing photo on forum page but will send if anyones interested).

Any comments appreciated.

Andre Alexander.

Andre,
If you would email the photo to Nigel (Vintagebike) he could put it on the website?
The Dream type D was Honda's first production motorcycle:

The frame number seems to show that it is a Honda PS50, and is a 'moped' rather than a motorcycle and probably dates from around the early 1970s?
So not particularly old or valuable.
