I have a 1978 CB750K8 that is in great original condition except that the side covers have cracks in them. I know I can get new aftermarket covers and repaint the and find the right badges but I can't find the decals. Does anyone have a source?
Another option would be finding covers in good original condition painted the original color, which is black. Does anyone have a source or have any for sale?
Otherwise the bike is a perfect original example which is why I want to go with "as original replacements".
Thanks

Hi Gari
Nice bike mate.
We didn't get the K8 in England. However I have a K7 and I beleive the sidepannels are the same only the badges differed between the K7 and K8.
If I'm right then your bike shouldn't have decals on the side pannels. In fact iv'e seen a couple of K8's over here and can't recall seeing decals on the side pannels.
Hope this helps.

I attached a pic of the bike from a different angle. The gold line with a boxed "K" is a decal, which is what I am trying to find. You can't tell in the picture but both covers have cracks.
I didn't know that the K8 was not made available in Europe.
