Title: Can anyone identify this 1930's bike?
Post by: VintageBike on January 10, 2006, 03:35:47 AM
Can anyone help me.  I've been sent this picture by a relative of the lady on the bike and we're trying to find out what bike it is.  It's a good quality photo, but I just don't recognise the bike.  Do you?

Thanks

It's a Rover, Nigel. From the Shropshire registration I would date it as 1920 or '21.

Thanks Peter!  I've passed the info on to the rider's relatives.  Its a great photo isn't it.  There's another great one of the same lady on a Rudge Multi - they're both in the Period Pictures Gallery.

Happy New Year to you.
Nigel.
