Title: help with british bike identity

I have a british bike with single cylinder,and the numbers I can find on the motor are P50SS/EL1189

sorry number is B50SS/EL1189 make, model, and year please. And any history or info will be helpfull.thank you

This is from a BSA B50 Gold Star.  These were only made in 1971 & 72, but I can't tell which as the engine number doesn't seem to follow the expected pattern.

These were capable off-roaders produced right at the end of the company's life.

thank you it is 90% intact, is it worth putting any money in it to restore.
