Title: Very old bike, can anybody identify please ?

The picture shows my grandfather in about 1916, can anybody identify it please ?

Its a pre ww1 Douglas 2 3/4 hp 'Two speeder' of the type used during the war by dipatch riders.

Fantastic, thanks very much. Now I can put a name to the photograph.
He must have nicked it from a dispatch rider for use whilst on leave in England !

It's a Bath registration. It was very common during the First World War to use one's own machine on military service. I like the 'gentleman's' stick stuck behind the tool bag. A lovely picture.
