You have not given any engine or frame numbers or any other information and so makes any year identification very difficult.
Please can we have some information?

Are there any prefix letters stamped with the engine number?

Is this bike a twin cylinder model?

And does the bike look like this?:

Or more like this?:

Or is it single cylinder like this?:

Hello marko,

Thank you for sending the photos of your motorcycle.

However I am not able to help you with any model or date information as I now realise that your motorcycle is a German (TWN) 'Triumph' and not British manufactured one, although it certainly looks very good and would appear to be OHV rather than OHC.

I include some links where you may be able to find further information:

I know this is an old thread (from Sept 13th 2006).

It would appear that Marko's Triumph is apparently a rare 1929 BRITISH 500cc CTT model.

Despite what has been said, it's a British made 348cc ohv Model CO. Late 1928 or early 1929. If you mail me at peter@triumph.gen.nz with the three letters following the engine number on the crankcase and the frame number (top of headstock viewed from the front) I'll date to the month and send a list of the Triumph booklets I have written as one covers this model. (The 19 booklets written cover all Triumph models from 1902 to 1934, less the 1934 Val Page models, and I'm part way through a series covering the definitive history of Triumph with previously unpublished info and pictures.)
Cheers, Peter (Triumph specialist for the VMCC of Britain)
