Title: triumph tiger cub 1959

please help!!!!!!!
My husband has a 1959  T20 tiger cub.What we are trying to find out is  is it supposed to have the pressed steelcentre fairing it looks like it should, as the brackets to fix it onto are there also the oil tank lid is to the right and not central and it has the heavier mudguard brackets it is a T20 54172 can any one help with  these enquiries Cheers Sallymac

I suggest that you get a copy of the 1959 parts book (and a manual)?:

A standard 1959 T20 would normally have what are known as the 'rear panels'. A T20C or T20S would not.

Do have a manual!!!! It looks like the panels are supposed to be there but at sometime been removed. Thanx

Very good read, has each side photos too of a T20.
