Heloo everyone. I am working on a bike that has cables in pretty good shape, the cable itself is all in good condition with no frays or weeak spots but the housings are cracked and worn. Is there a way to repair the housings without replacing the cables completely. I would really just like to reseal them.
Please let me know. Thanks

Cable parts are available from Carrot Cycles, who advertise on this forum.

Alternatively, Venhill Cables, and Vehicle Wiring Products also sell them.

Thanks, I will see if either have something to just reseal the housings. The machanical workings of the cables are fine, the housings are just worn.
I will see what's what. Thanks

Just out of curiosity, is the old 'solderless nipple' still obtainable ?
Always had one or two 'in me tool roll'. They were a dam good bodge.
