Hello
I was wondering if anyone might know anything about the petrol tank fitted to the '48 Grand Prix?
was the same as any other Model of the time?
Im currently Building a T100 in the replica form of the Grand Prix and have got a bit stuck in identifying the tank
any Info greatly appreciated
Many Thanks

Hello, I am not an expert but to my knowledge the GP tank was model specific with features that identify it as genuine. For example i think the tunnel was square section rather than round as std(I am not certain of this). Anyway for your purposes replica builders use the 1950 tank which is seamless with the butterfly cap. they are not easy to find but do turn up. Regards David
