I have a friend who found this bike in Beirut and I wondered if anyone new what it was, the age and parts contact. Any help would be appreciated....

It's a BSA.
Probably either a 250cc C15 model, or a 350cc B40 model.

The engine and frame numbers can be used to identify the exact model type and age.

For parts try C & D Autos: http://www.canddautos.co.uk/
