hi all

what is best way to mesh the quadrant and the pinion in a burman gearbox .its from a 1950 ariel VG .
a friend told me i might have to select a gear and then try to mesh it .

Have emailed you a Burman service pdf, a lot easier than re typing the info.

It's simple. There are "timing" marks on both the pinion and the quadrant. Ensure the two are lined up on assembly.
I would then suggest you get a decent sevice manual. They prevent a lot of anxious moments.
