Title: model G oil problem
Post by: pantherbob on April 29, 2010, 09:24:00 PM
can anybody shed some light on a rather frustrating (to put it mildly) Problem i am having with my 1950 Royal Enfield Model G. It persists in throwing its oil out of the driving side main bearing. I have completely stripped the engine, cleaned out all oilways and breathers, refurbished the two oil pumps and assembled under surgically pristine conditions, yet the !"£%^% persists, filling up the primary chaincase with Halford's finest 20/50. I really dont know what to do next other than burn it. ???
