Title: HONDA CB550K TUNING

I have overhauled my cylinder head and honed my cylinders and put new rings in.I cant get the bike to idle properly now,it keeps surging like its getting too much air.Could this be the new rings not bedded in yet and it is drawing too much air past the rings from the crank case.Anyone got any suggestions?

erratic running is more likely a carb problem. Maybe you have an air leak at the flanges (cracks in the rubber)?
