Title: 1974 Triumph Daytona
Post by: durnell5856 on August 28, 2010, 09:39:12 PM
A bit of a long shot this one!

I would love to know if the 1974 Daytona I bought new in August of that year is still in existence.

The bike was bought from J Morgan's in Windsor Rd., Neath & registered TKG 162N.  Red/White tank, chrome mudguards. Silencers almost identical to the Norton 850 of the same period, i.e, long taper towards rear.  Sold her to my brother in '76 who sold her on to someone in the Malvern area I think, about a year later.

Can anyone Help?

Yes TKG 162N still exists as it's still on the DVLA database-currently on SORN.

Thanks for the reply,
Is there anyway I can find out who owns it now?  I would love to just see it again!

No not really, (not legally anyway) as the DVLA won't release vehicle keeper details unless someone can show 'reasonable cause' for needing to know, and making a false declaration to the DVLA in order to obtain such information could land you in serious trouble.
