Title: CB550-Wiring loom
Post by: rob123 on April 07, 2011, 06:54:38 PM
Hi,
I am a bit green on motorcycle work but have bought a 1976 cb550 four, have stripped the bike and am now in the process of rebuilding the bike into a cafe racer.I am having the frame bead blasted then I will start cutting not needed bits off.I want to rebuild the wiring loom as I want to site the battery in the dome on the cafe seat.Does anyone know of a site that could give me a wiring diagram for beginners for a basic bike-eg no indicators.
Thanks
Rob123

there is a Haynes Owners Workshop Manual for the CB400/CB550 Honda models of the seventies. Should be available from any bookstore if you give them the ISBN:
ISBN-10: 0856962627
ISBN-13: 978-0856962622
I don't think it will cost much more than 15 quid.
Cheers
Andy
