Hi All,
I am struggling with my 1979 (Oct 1978) T140E. I have reassembled the bike and the the bike won't start. The only thing I can think of is that I may have the timing wheels on the wrong woodruft key. I would be grateful if anyone can tell me if there is a way of telling. I have just joined this site again after a couple of years working abroad and have a new user name as I have a new email address.
Thanks for any help

The woodruff keys go in the slots adjacent to the timing marks, so the slot nearest the dash mark for the inlet cam wheel (pinion), and the dot on the exhaust cam wheel.
The inlet cam wheel should then be lined up dash to dash with the intermediate gear and dot to dot for exhaust with the double intermediate dots either side of the crankshaft pinion dot.
