Post by: TWOSTROKING on September 21, 2011, 03:10:58 PM
Can anyone help me with a nice pair of ww2 dispatch riders boots, the price is not important but the right pair of boots is!

lm building up the whole kit as lm in a re-enactment group, i could also do with a helmet size 7 to 7 1/2 and a pair of pantaloons waist 36 "or 38".

l ride a Velocette MAC MDD consigned in 1941 to the 32nd Light Ack Ack at Marston Biggot in Somerset........................if anyone has any pictures of a Royal Artillery dispatch rider or has knowledge of the insignia and colours worn on the Battledress shoulder, especially for the 32nd Group, i will be very pleased and grateful to hear from you.

I will be attending the VMCC autojumble at Shepton Mallet next Month if anyone should have anything of interest and wishes to meet there.

I can be reached on 01425 611681 or 07956177250.

best regards,
