Title: a.j.s 1936 model 12

picked up this ajs model 12 1936 250cc. its a nr complete bike, it kicks over, looking for the decompreser lifter from the engine, also missing is the headlamp rim and reflector,it will make a nice bike when done, love the handlebars on this bike, with the built in horn and dip switch   . alan

I love that. Right up me street. Needs about 30 minutes work for an MOT and enjoy.....

I'm surprised the 250 had a decompressor? Just blank the hole with a turned alloy plug until you find one.You won't really need it. See if a postwar one can be made tofit, or at least mocked on there.

yes you are right, it dont really need one, but i like to find the parts that are missing, it has a cork in the hole filling it up. alan
