Hi mate,
recently I am built up one t21 with non existing wiring.
my problem how is the best way to recognise the 3 nos of wire out from 6v alternator prior connection to rectifier?i am using a solid state rectifier which has 2 terminal to be connected to alternator wires..
does any one can comment?

The number of stator leads connected to each of your three wires should give the game away. They should have one, two and three wires connected.
The one with one wire should go to the rectifier (Dark Green)
The one with two wires should go to the light switch (yellow & green)
The one with three wires should go the the rectifier and then have an onwards connection to the light switch (light green).
Hope this helps
regards
Nigel.

thank you nigel,
but my problem is the color of the three wires out from alt is totally can't be used coz the previous owner had change it..so can I used the method you told without dismantling the stator?i hpe i can see appearantly right?

it depends on whether your stator is encapsulated in resin or not. If it is, you will not be able to see the number of coil wires attached. What colours do you have?

when i bought the bike,i seen 1xgreen and2xyellow..
i am not sure whether the alternator produce 6v or 12v.
we can check by measuring one one wire each to ground(body) using multimeter while engine is running (and rev to max )right ?this stator encapd in resin..
also 1 side of my head also badly pinted(sphere area)..affected the compression ratio I think..
any idea how to make it to normal condition?
