Hi People, I just acquired a BSA C15 engine No. C15 24035, Frame No. C15 24968. I went onto the BSA owners club website and I think I managed to track it down to a C15 star 1961. How can I confirm this please? I can't wait to get started on my first restoration project and I didn't get any docs with the bike.

Hi ATRSS, According to Roy Bacons book it is a 1961. If there is anything to indicate it,s original registration, such as an old tax disc or even the old number plate then it may be possible to regain the original registration. if not it will have to have an age related number. If you contact Mike Worthington Williams, he can provide a dating certificate and indicate the documents that you require. he charges £30 for doing it. His email is worthycomments@btconnect.com. All the best with it Goldy

very best regards and thanks
