Hello new guy here and I have an old BSA racing bike and wonder if anyone can give me an idea as to the age of this bike, it is mans racer 27" wheels 5 gears cotterpin cranks, on the frame is says Tour Of Britain. made in England and the number on the frame is ND9124344 it is green and in good condition, any ideas as to the age would be much appreciated . . . .

Wrong forum I think.
no engine in your BSA

Ere no engine I am afraid sorry for the wrongly placed post, I have had many old bikes though BSA Gold Star and about a dozen Triumphs a few Nortons Vincents too etc. . . . I will try and find my way to the cycle forum. Thankx . . .

hello anyone know if there is a BSA cycle forum on this site as cannot seem to find it. . . .

This is a purely motorcycle site, no pedal cycle facility here.
Well, I haven't seen one

Listed on ebay is a BSA cycles brochure showing a racing cycle , i cannot remember the date but the add shows good images of a racing cycle .
Do an ebay search and it may help .

back to the motorized version I have a question on frame numbers, I have a BSA B31 bare frame numbered CB31 6791 can anyone date the frame and let me know if this is a valid number? I intend to build it into a vintage racer using a 1951 ZB34 engine (*yes I know that is a plunger engine not in a swing arm frame*) but at least the year of the frame would be nice to know. 1955?
