Hi All

Does anyone know a good mechanic who knows BSA's and Cafe Racers to do some work I can't undertake.

Hi,
There's one or two Goldstar experts & Devimead if they still exist,
http://www.bsagoldstar.co.uk/ (http://www.bsagoldstar.co.uk/),
http://www.goldstar-rgs-gp.co.uk/ (http://www.goldstar-rgs-gp.co.uk/)
http://www.cylex-uk.co.uk/company/devime... (http://www.cylex-uk.co.uk/company/devime...)
Probably some local blokes too, but you do not state your location, get a written quote first, so as no argy-bargy later!

Cheers

It depends what the work is. If you want to get a complete rebuild by a restorer it will cost thousands of pounds, but even if you don't want to do all of the work you can break it down into separate parts. So if you need welding find a local welder/ fabricator, paintwork can be done at specialists or even local car body shops. For engine work you wil find Coventry Boring are good

Let us know more details.
All the best Goldy

Really!
Working on a Birmingham product in Coventry? Those Small heath workers would be turning over in their graves!

Good job those old rivalries aren't what they used to be!

Cheers
