You don't show a view down the throat - is this the one that is full throttle all the time, and you control the speed via the magneto kill switch ?? - ala Sopwith Camel etc.
Or does the mousetrip bit give the kill function to the engine ?

I was under the impression that the serious Binks racing carb was the RATRAP and used on Broughs, etc in its day and that the Mousetrap was a smaller version intended for the Lightweight classes.
The Mousetrap is still very desirable for the right machine but not for the big boys.
Perhaps Br1737 could clarify exactly what he has?

Wasn't the mousetrap carb a factory race fixture for the 1926 Excelsior, along with the three speed foot change gearbox?

is this a two jet or three jet model ?
