I am the original owner of a 1970 US Bonneville and am in the process of restoring it but I would like to do a Canadian version. I believe that Bonnevilles exported to Canada had stainless steel fenders and a different tank than the slimline one that came on my bike originally. Can anyone supply information on any diffences between those models sent to the US and those sent to Canada. Thank you.....

In 1970 Triumph only made 5 versions of the 650cc machine, 3 for the US, T120R Bonneville, TR6R Tiger 650, and TR6C Trophy 650, and 2 for the UK, T120 Bonneville and the TR6 Trophy.
You mention stainless mudguards on the '70 machines, however these were only fitted to the TR6C.
