Hi Guys
Bought a 1937 B22 250cc Empire Star some thirty years ago to restore but never got round to doing it! now its taking precious space in the garage so will have to go.
It is complete and it runs also have the V5.
I bought it with the intention to do a nut and bolt restore but the previous owner used it "as is" It is all there and runs just needs a lot of TLC. I just need some idea of what i should be asking for it.
Many Thanks.

I sold his big brother 350 back in the summer. It was a runner with MoT and Tax, new tyres etc but not restored, and got just shy of £5000 for it. The bloke said he was "more than happy" after he'd paid the cash over.
Good points for yours is that pre-war girder-rigids seem to be more sought-after than ever now, although being a 250 (in this age when 750s etc seem small) may reduce the appeal slightly.
Good bikes though.

Here is a link that you may find useful.

Bear in mind though that auction prices usually far outstrip prices that you might gain from a private sale.
Cheers
