Title: Z900 A4

Any Z900 buffs out there !!!!!! i have just had my top end rebuilt new valve guides and new rings when i start it now it smokes quite bad but when its warmed up its ok , the expert who done my rebuild said this is normal till everything "beds" in has anyone else experienced this   ?

How many miles do you have up now ?

No direct experience with Z900's, but it is possible for motors to smoke a little after a rebuild.
Smoking badly doesn't sound too good though.
They didn't generally smoke when brand new, did they...

Get a few miles up, and if it continues, then all is not good.

Up to now i have done about 120 mile this guy reckons it will take up too 200 and above for everything to settle down , cheers for the reply .

sounds like valve guides , are they fitted with seals ?
