Title: 1953 98cc excelsior

Hi just after abit of help i have just brought a 98cc excelsior to restore then ride.Does anyone have any pictures,info etc on this bike as i would like to get it as close as possible to what it would have looked like back in 1953.I do know that it is a 1953 as i have a buff log book.Looking forward to hearing from you thanks John

Hi John,
The Vintage Motor Cycle Club has an enormous library that has all the info you will ever need. The library is open to the general public, so you don't have to be a member to get anything you want from it.
The VMCC also has a website that lists all their library holdings so you don't even have to move from your seat to find out exactly what Excelsior info they have.
Check them out. You will get a pleasant surprise.
You'll see I haven't given you the website name. That's because I can't remember it. You'll have to put some effort into this yourself!!

Hi John, The VMCC web site is www.vmcc.net. They do have some info on the 1953 98cc Consort. Hope this helps. Cheers, Dave.
