Title: BSA Victor Special
Post by: Tim Prout on July 11, 2013, 08:55:40 AM
Hi all. I'm new to the forum so here goes. I live on Guernsey, Channel Islands and am looking for a BSA Victor Special as a restoration project. Would be great to hear from anyone if they have or know of something.

Many thanks.

We raced on the beach at Vazon Bay once in the seventies, do they still do it? Such a short circuit we had to change the engine sprocket from a 24 to a 16 teeth.

Hi there.

Indeed they do, in fact they now hold the ACU British Sand Racing Championships over here, still very popular.

Strangely I too used to race down there many years ago, I had the first single o.h.c Weslake over here, won the local championships an all that stuff.

You really should be on the Bantam Forum asking for such things- there is likely to be a bigger audience there that may well have such things, or know where they may be found  ?
