Title: another numty question
Post by: Stitch on August 26, 2013, 05:48:59 PM
OK I got the carbs off the GS1000, cleaned them, put them back together, replaced the air filter, put the air box back in place now how the F do I get the carbs back in. I can line them up, get them on the first lip, then that's it. Stuck. It's as if they need levering in but what do I lever them off. Is there a method for doing this ? Frank,  don't even think about answering ;)

its a B of a job , but if the rubbers have not gone to hard they will go , try some wd40 round the rubbers to make life a bit easyer and make sure the clips are well undone and as far out the way as poss .
