Should make close to 100K

Should make close to 100K
Roubles or £ or € ?
They don't call those fairings 'hand beaten' for nothing.
Couldn't find the listing, is it up there yet ?
Should have an interesting history... !

I had hoped it might have been the Muller bike. No such luck, but still a very interesting piece of old machinery.
-
nice bike and rare , anyone like to take a guess at what it might fetch , ill go £47,000 but wont meet the reserve
-
I reckon bids might reach £25K and not reach reserve although if I was selling it I think I would have gone to a prestige auction house and stood their prohibitive charges... just because they reach the required clientele.
So who's going to run the book?
-
I agree and I don't think it will sell , far to much of this going on with ebay

When I suggested 100K I was thinking more of USA or perhaps even Aussie dollars that are about the same thinking perhaps it might have been super historic, not that it's not historic.
I pounds maybe 30K?????? About 50K USA or OZ dollars is my guess.
It would be wonderful to own.

looks like im way off , been won over by a hand beaten fairing , but its not round a v8 guzzi (id be way off again then) I would like to see under the fairing mind

bomber wins , good job im not a gambler (to tight) lower than I thought but higher than the other one so maybe bikes are still a good investment , so wont sell up just yet

The bike equivalent of death

For bikes like this I don't know if a museum is such a bad thing. I like vintage racing and I love to see bikes get used on the road, but if they are very unique or irreplaceable historical objects, then maybe preserving them for future generations or as documents of the past is the right thing to do.
This way if someone really wants to race a nsu sportmax, then they will have original ones as documents to copy, which has been done many times. Also if someone wants to know what a famous rider or tuner rode or did in the past, then it is nice to be able to look at the engines and motorcycles they left behind preferably in original condition.
I have a few old semi-famous racing Nortons, Heinz Kegler's works Daytona racer and Reg Pridmore's championship winning Manx, and I believe it is my duty to preserve as much of their history with their past owner's as possible. If I want to go riding or racing I will do it on a bitza or replica with no historical significance.

you could still take them out once or twice a year maybe , I get something out most boxing day which rarley sees the light , this year 250 manxman BRAR , its totally illegal (put any reg on it that's taxed etc) but I look forwards to this once a year ride , and spend the next 12 months cleaning the salt off it . if its in a museum its dead and some are not that original (bike museum Birmingham) the acception would be Sammy miller who for now at least runs them now and again (a difficult man to do buissness with)
