Hi all,
I am looking some info on conrod and crank 6t rigid that i have..is it true for 6t parts?
conrod-E1450
crank/flywheel-E1460
the crank set is small journal and how to identiy the size either +20,30,etc..it only state "2" at the conrod clamp and conrod itself and this model may be oldest and does not use shell bearing like T110 do..any input is very much appreciated.

hope that can help . im doing similar with my tiger 100 , same type rods ( babit ) made with white metal as opposed to having shells .

big end diam 1.4371 in/tho mic it up , who white metals now ? you might try a black smith

Get the rods modified for shells.

Any decent engine reconditioner. I had it done about 30 years ago by a backyard machinist. They may have been Morris minor or Mini shells.

Morris minor or Mini shells............... could you find out , i have worked on both of these cars and in both cases big ends where larger than the ones req to fit this crank , as for altering the rods ive never tryed to have done , but if possible would take a very good enginnering company , i think i would look for a later crank (mid 50s ?)

just had a look at some triumph cranks i have here , early bolt up with what i call a bell crank flywheel is marked E1460 i always thought this to be a t100 crank will measure stroke but is babit rod , another which i think is bolt up 6T with shell rods is marked 3296 , dont know if that is any help , ive only recently got back interested in triumphs so not really that up on part numbers
these people can alter your rods , crank work etc i have never used them myself

Something in the back of my head suggests Austin A30 shells ::) ::)
