Title: 1949 BSA C11
Post by: Pulman on May 08, 2007, 10:01:50 PM
Hi Folks, Newby on your forum with a question about my other half's 1949 BSA C11 ....

Had some electrical problems and it seems some of the trouble was coming from the spark plug. As interim solution Jerry (other half) has nicked the plug off my '58 MV however could anyone please tell me the recommended plug for a 1949 C11.

Thanks :-*

Here is a pic of said BSA in question - as you can see exactly the same as Gary Milar's in the BSA photo section! :D

The chart here says: Champion L10S http://www.oldengine.org/members/diesel/Plugs/appbike.htm

The modern Champion equivalent appears to be an L82C: http://www.vintagemotorspares.com/phdi/p1.nsf/supppages/hodge?opendocument&part=2

Or NGK B9HS
