Title: Just a quick hello

Hi all . Just a quick hello to everyone from a newbie to the forum .

A quick introduction ,I have had bikes all my life of all types and sizes. I have Italian, British and Japanese at the moment and love anything a bit different.

 I also collect, repair and restore Jaeger and Smiths Chronometric instruments and have quite a lot of smiths catalogues with speedo,rev counter, angle drive and some cable serial numbers . I can also tell you what what ratio and rotation your rev counters are from the face numbers.

Hope this can be of help to some of you at some time .

Hi murdo Thanks for that. I am usually cheaper than the rest for general repairs and have repaired them for quite a few bike shops and clubs over the years  ;)
