Title: BSA B40

I have just bought a 1964 b40 350 ss 90 in running order is there a mod for the sump cover as i would like to have a one with a sump drain bolt in or will i have to tap the original plate
i would also like to fit a 7 inch chrome headlamp but need fork shrouds with ears would these have to be b40 or will other models fit all help welcome

srm do the sump plate I think , it has the drain and magnet , the cheapest headlight ear shroud things you can buy are for MZs they fit (see ebay)  BSAs and triumphs I have used on both but then the machine is not original http://www.srmclassicbikes.com/sites/default/files/2013srmservices2.pdf

Thanks for the help going to have a look at the sites info you have given i will keep all the parts i take off so when/if i sell the bike all the original bits will go with it
