Hope you can help me. I need to replace the handlebar P clamp bushes from the top yoke on my 68 T100. The previous owner had a go and left in the outer metal sleeve. Its in tight and not interested in being pressed out. Any ideas? Can it be extracted from above and/or below or is there only one direction for install and removal? If I have to remove the top yoke can I do so without disturbing the front forks and head race bearings?

Insert a hacksaw (or junior hacksaw) blade into the empty sleeve, attach the hacksaw frame to the blade and cut through (or very nearly through) the sleeve. The sleeve should then knock out easily, if not, make another cut, etc.

I must have done dozens of these in the past, there is a triumph tool, a double diameter drift to knock them out,they are not tight.
Use either bit of decent tube that will just fit into the housing and bear on the remaining bit, or a solid bit of brass or alloy.
Before you reassemble anything study a parts list for the top and bottom washers, so often these ave been left out because previous owners did not understand their purpose.
I repeat its not that tight unless its been glued in, your drift must be tight in the yoke ID
