Hi guys & gals, My first post on here,so be gentle with me.
I'm a Harley rider at the moment, but always loved the old british stuff.
I was visiting my brother over the weekend and I said I would like an old British bike to rebuild as a winter project.
He told me that a bloke he knew had two BSA 650 twins for sale.
He took me to have a look, the guy didn't know what model they were, niether do I.
I've given him two grand for the two :o
I'm picking them up this week and would like to hear your views as to wheather I've paid to much, and maybe some help on seeking parts etc.

So far it appears they might be Gold flash's, but still unsure, one is Green and the other is purple, they look like like they have original paintwork. I'm picking them up Sunday, so will have more info :D

If you post the engine and frame numbers of the bikes, we will soon be able to identify exactly what they are. Certainly sounds like a good price (although will wait and see what coindition they're in before making further comment.... ;))

Thanks for the reply, I'll have the frame and engine numbers on sunday, so I'll post em here.
Thanks again ;)
