Title: T120R
Post by: Stuntdog on January 29, 2008, 08:19:32 PM
I just bought a basket case Triumph.  The motor has an AD before the serial number and then T120R.  Does anyone have any idea the year of this bike?

It was stamped in January (represented by the A) in the year 1970 (D)

Yes, that's considered by most people to be the best of all the Bonnies - best brakes, best forks, well sorted engine and if you have a US version (most likely), you have the best paintwork.

Best of luck with sorting it out.
