I thought most manufacturers dropped inverted levers in the early too mid 30's. Douglas
-
HI DOUGLAS,
THE FIRST S7'S (ON SALE FROM 1947) BUILT HAD REVERSE LEVERS, AND A ENGINE THAT VIBRATED SO BADLY IT WAS NEARLY UNRIDABLE ! CURED MOSTLY BY RUBBER MOUNTING THE ENGINE.

There is a note in this month's VMCC Journal to say that Ron Farthing suffered a heart attack whilst taking part in the Pioneer Run and is still recovering. This probably explains the lack of response.
There is a chap called Alan Clark who regularly advertises stainless steel replica inverted levers in the Journal. I assume they are primarily intended for pre-war bikes. He doesn't seem to be on-line but his UK phone number is 0044 20 8546 3312
