Title: British Bike and Car Valves

My Father has quite a few Motorcycle and Car Valves made by 'James', - and old British Valve manufacuter. Many have reference numbers on, but are all just in a box. Does anyone know if there is anywhere, where I could get, say a parts list for the James manufactures.

Hi Karl,I cannot recall ever seeing a list of the James part numbers for the products of the general engineering section of the company,this section enabled the company (James Cycle Company Ltd) to survive the lean years in the twenties and the thirties.You could try a visit to the records office at Birmingham to see if  any James papers have been filed there.Harry.
