Can you please help!! I am looking for a
Sunbeam mod 9 1930 Motorcycle piston complete.
Specs as follows :
Bore 79.95mm
Pin 22mm
Combustion height 38mm
Measured from top of top ring to crown of piston 10mm

Cant help, but JP engineering in oZ make them for everything worldwide. They will also need oversize and gudgeon pin height centre to crown. Just google !   Dugless

HE HAS USED MARSTON SUNBEAM SPARES.THE STANDARD BORE SIZE FOR M9's IS 80 MM.

Thanks to all for the help so-far looks like Iam getting someware does anybody have specs on the Norton 16H piston

Ah! Now ya pushin it sunshine! or i should say "sunbeam" You'll just have to use the 'pute more! I'm sure the sidevalve version of the Es2 or the model 50 will be the same bore sizes in 500cc or 350. not sure about gudgeon height.    Dugless

The 16H piston std bore is 79 mm. + .060" are the hardest to find of course but most other sizes are fairly common.

I've got a number of old ones lying around. What dimensions do you want measuring ?

The gudgeon pin measures (in metric) 22.15 mm.
