Title: Triumph thundrbird polychromatic blue paint

i am building 52 t bird and need to get hold of the correct colour paint in aerosols if i can,the correct colour is polychromatic blue i understand ford blue mink is a substitute,thanks steve

Just about all off the shelf aerosols aren't petrol resistant, so make sure you clear coat the tank with a petrol resistant paint after you've sprayed the blue. I think Halfords do a petrol resistant clear coat aerosol.

Hope I'm not being too patronising but I've made that mistake before and it's a real b#####d to see your perfect tank job melt and drip in front of you at the petrol station..... HN

Presumably you are in the UK? So  try "RS" for aerosol paint: http://www.motorbikepaint.co.uk/

thanks for the advice Henry, like yourself i have been there before its not something iam likely to do again,but good advice for anyone reading this.Thanks for the link LAB will give RS a go and yes i am UK based. Cheers Steve
