Well done, David.

You're nearly there......

....and when you finally get it going, then all the time effort and money you've put into it will all seem worthwhile (I hope?).  ;)

Nice job!
Front mudguard is unusual though, as it has an odd front edge.
Almost looks as if it's on back to front?

yes, the front mudguard is not the right one. i thought it was off a 63 TBIRD but not sure. The program is to replace it with the correct one after i will complete every thing i have to do on it so in the mean while i will leave it like this.
thanks u all for FBs !

Be a shame to stick oil in her and get her dirty :)

Am I right in thinking that 1965 was the year Triumph dropped the valanced front mudguard in favour of the type used on the sports models.

Here's a link to David's earlier thread, which contains a discussion about the front mudguard: http://www.vintagebike.co.uk/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1228077054

(A few of us initially got the impression that the first photo was of David and his bike, when in fact it isn't, and is totally unconnected with him and his 6T):

I think it came off a 63 Tbird. the 65 f.fender should be like the one on the bonnie. i will replace it too when more $$$ will come  :)
