Title: Post counter problem
Post by: cardan on January 28, 2011, 10:24:50 PM
There is a small glitch with the counter that records the number of posts from each user, and what "class" (newbie, expert or whatever) they are in. I think it stopped counting when the forum was moved over to the Simple Machines engine. By the way, the Simple Machines forum seems to run well from the "user" end - is it easy to administer?

Hi Leon
thanks for the message.  Yes, I have seen this problem and am trying to get it fixed.  It's on my extraordinarily long list....!

And yes, SMF is fine, although could be better in preventing spammers registering.  They are the biggest pain...

Cheers

Nigel

I've been counting posts in my sleep, since i've been putting up a mile long fence at work last week!
