Title: Help with this featherbed
Post by: Dawb on October 28, 2014, 08:30:56 AM
Hi.
My mum is in possession of this frame that belonged to my dad who passed away a few years ago...anyway time has come to clear out and as the family have no use for it, mum is looking to sell it on. However, we don't know much about it other than it's a featherbed slimline. Mum is not aware of any frame number either. If any expert out there could offer any advice we would be grateful!

The frame number is normally stamped as described by mark2, on the LEFT side, there may also be a model code number stamped horizontally above the 6-digit frame number.

Norton frame numbers/model codes: http://www.bmh.com.au/norton/index.php?id=modelnum

Thanks for the advice. Mum was quite impressed when I showed her the frame number!! Which, if anyone is interested, consisted of 18 and 107... serial.
