Hi all I'm new here I'm just about to start a resto on a 1957 dmw.anyone have any ideas where I might find parts
-
Small volume producers generally used of the peg stuff from specialists like Speedwell. So other small volume bikes will have the same wheels, tank, guards, batterybox etc. Look at Excelsior,Panther,Cotton, even Greeves.Regards John.

Do people post restoration pictures on here

Any ideas if anything has a seat same as this
-
First stop for seats would probably always be Leightons.
If they don't stock it, they may well have details/designs for one.
That looks somewhat unusual, may need a custom design.
Do you have anything of the original, even the base.
If you can figure out where it attached, and can make a fibreglass seat base shape to suit,
a good upholsterer could make a cushion and cover for it.
Make sure they use hi-density seat foam, not soft stuff that squishes down.
hth.
Pretty looking bike when its in its prime...

P.S. We do have several resto's on show here.
Should be more of them.
Good place for anything less common...
