Try this site for the 'beam, it worked well for me recently. Buyer contact system cauts out all the tossers.
Better than ebay, as no fees at all. better even than a specialist Military site for my bike.
world wide market and stays on till sold.

Yeah, sold my last three bikes on there. Takes a while but it's free and seemingly $%^-free at present.
-
Yes, it is on there and I've had lots of interest although not enough to actually come & see the bike yet.....
Although I only put the ad up on Saturday it's been viewed 500+ times.
Interestingly there's another Model 10 with an asking price of nearly £10K and without the electrics. That one is probably cosmetically slightly better than mine however.
I also have ads coming out soon in the usual suspects - the one in Real Classic was out last week but have had no responses to that. Possibly partly because they didn't include the link to my web page http://tinyurl.com/Sunbeam10 (http://tinyurl.com/Sunbeam10)

The bikes mags are useless for selling, adverts are mostly read by chancers looking for bikes the owner don't know the value of, or tight arse bikers still looking for that 200 quid bruff.
Before ebay days OBM was good, haven' tread it for over ten yrs though.
You put that much effort into the Sunbeam I think you should keep it.
-
Yeah, but it's all fixed now so it's boring.......
OBM has been suggested by someone else.
Interestingly, some of the strongest interest (but no sale yet) has come from forums dedicated to other marques.
The problem I seem to have is to actually get someone to come and look & hear it - at which point they will be captivated and resistance will become futile.

If you advertised it at three grand the queue would be around the block...maybe the market's telling you that it's over-priced? {I have no idea if it is or not..just hypothetical that's all :-\}
The glossies' ads are hopelessly out of date by the time we get to see them, and OBM, to my mind, has fewer ads than in it's hey-day of years back.
EBay's full of wa*kers (or can be) and other assorted idiots, costs a bomb but at least you can buy/sell in just seven days rather than months.

It's very hard to tell what the "right" price would be.
There's another Model 10 (weird given their rarity) on car&classic with an asking price of nearly £10K - 50% more than mine. And it doesn't even have any electrics, and no statement about whether it runs or not.
The trouble is once I decide to sell I really want it gone. But not at any price.
-
mmmm, I still think the Sunbeam will give more enjoyment.
Hondas are 10 a penny after all.

I know what you mean there. I wasn't saying it's not worth that money, just like houses, anything sells at the market value. High end price for the model...slow, low end price then it'll go quickly.
Still, if someone thinks a T90 (on another site you're also on) is worth 8 grand then a Sunbeam like yours must be a bargain!

Yes, he does seem rather optimistic.
In fact I part-chopped a very nice 5TA in for the 'Beam less than 2 years ago and was quite pleased to get £3,000 for it.
