Title: Tyres for BMW RS 54 sidecar
Post by: Rainer Meißner on January 27, 2018, 01:41:10 PM
Hello friends! We are a german raceteam in the "German historic motorcycle championship" (Deutsche historische Motorradmeisterschaft). Our sidecar is a BMW RS 54. I´m searching for 12inch racing tyres. But...i can´t find any! Is it possible that anyone of you can help us?

What a beast !!

Didn't the (original) Mini use 12 inch tyres.
I don't know if they are faintly like what you would need,
but it could be worth looking into.
Presumably the cross-ply version ?

I think the original original Mini was actually 10" wheels but slightly later ones were 12". I'm sure racing tyres would be available eg

Not cheap though!

Some modern scooters use 12" tyres.
