Title: Royal Enfield 505
Post by: Jstep on April 30, 2018, 03:59:15 PM
Hi All, I've just bought a 1929 Royal Enfield 505 to restore, does anyone have any information on this model. I also need an alloy horizontally split  primary chain case  to fit this machine.

You will need to cast your own...which plenty of restorers do for all kinds of bikes....an alternative is to make one from fiberglass, and paint it silver.

Thanks for that I'd thought of the fibre glass method though the colour was black.

The chain case looks a bit like Brough!
